Melina Spanoudi (b. 1998) is a journalist based in London. She writes about society, art, culture and the environment. Her work has appeared in VICE World News, HuffPost UK, The New Arab, Newsweek, The Sunday Times, The Telegraph, Packaging Europe and Kathimerini.

Melina was born in Athens, and has lived in Istanbul, Cambridge and Norwich. She graduated with Distinction from the MA in Newspaper Journalism at City in 2021. Before that, she gained a First-Class BA in English Literature from the University of East Anglia.

As a freelance journalist, Melina writes news and features, as well as personal essays on family, health and identity.
